Fiona Schouten

Consultant and owner

Fiona worked at quality assurance agency Qanu for 6 years before starting Academion in 2021. She supervised numerous educational and research evaluations, recently including the academic assessment clusters Law, Political Science and Philosophy.

Fiona conducted SEP evaluations for the Princess Máxima Centre, Nivel, NWO and the VU, among other institutions. She studied Language and Cultural Studies at Utrecht University and obtained her PhD in Spanish Literature at Radboud University in 2009.

She has a warm heart for the university and the people who work there, and wants to use her work to contribute to quality improvement of and for Dutch academia.
