Marcella van Schie

Senior project officer

Marcella has worked as a senior project officer at Academion since 2023, having held the same role at assessment agency Qanu between 2016 and 2022. As senior project officer, she puts together assessment panels in consultation with contact persons from institutions and ensures that assessment and panel information is registered with the NVAO. She also handles various other administrative tasks related to site visits.

Marcella studied History at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and the University of Amsterdam. She has supported projects, managers and teams in various organisations, for example as secretary for the Comenius Senior Fellowships at the National Organisation for Educational Research (NWO) in 2022-2023. Marcella believes it is important that review processes are organized and carried out carefully, fairly and transparently.
